Make a Donation
Through your generous donation, Susan G. Komen Upstate New York is able to invest 75 percent of net funds raised to support vital, local breast services that touch the lives of our neighbors, families and friends. We dedicate the remaining 25 percent to research toward finding the cures, and we’re proud to invest more in research to fight breast cancer than any other non-profit organization outside of the U.S. government. It may be your donation today that pushes us past a major turning point in discovering the cures.
You can donate online today or mail your gift to Susan G. Komen Upstate New York | 742 Delaware Avenue Buffalo, NY 14209. Please make checks payable to Susan G. Komen. You can also print a donation form to include with your mailed gift if you’d like.
Fundraising for Komen
Thousands of women and men who could not afford breast health care have received screenings, education and treatments as a result of dollars raised through fundraisers just like you. We are honored to be contacted so often by passionate members of our community wanting to organize an event or promotion benefiting breast cancer awareness and research.
As a trusted partner in your success, we’ve created an online driven DIY program, where you can create a uniquely personal and interactive project to engage those you know as you make progress toward milestones you set for yourself!
Consider creating a DIY project for private fundraisers like barbeques, dinners, birthday parties, bat and bar mitzvahs, weddings, anniversaries and other events. Maybe you can inspire a social, educational or workplace activity, create a culture of philanthropy by hosting a luncheon, bake sale, donation drive, Jeans Day, Pink Day or other simple fundraisers.
You can also create a DIY project to celebrate survivorship or to memorialize someone who has passed on. By donating through your page, individuals can make a donation in your loved one’s name, and they’ll be able to instantly see how their donation is making an impact through the fundraising barometer on your page.
